Barbecue for Holiday Events
Barbecue for Holidays
Did you know that the most popular holiday for barbecue is the 4th of July? It is so popular that some folks decided that to be the day for National Barbecue day.
Next in line for popular barbecue holidays are Memorial Day and then Labor Day.
The White House tradition of having a barbecue on July 4th started with Thomas Jefferson. The 36th president of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, had a barbecue on the 4th of July that for the first time, included Texas-style barbecued ribs.
Father’s Day would be a good day to cater a barbecue and what about Groundhog’s Day (February 2nd.)
Now there are holidays created for just about anything including Tap Dancing Day (May 26th,) and Water a Flower Day (May 30th.)
No matter what you favorite holiday is or what time of the year it is, having your event catered with Barbecue will be a big hit!
